Get online to build sales
The Internet is increasingly seen as the
most efficient way to pay for goods and services. Not only has it proved to be a secure way of carrying out transactions, but unlike lengthy paper processes, it allows people to act spontaneously.

incur significantly lower administration charges than their paper-based equivalent, offering the potential for significant savings.

New Durham Pool to be pre-sold using Snap

The new £12.3m leisure complex for Durham, Freeman's Quay, which features a 25m 8 lane swimming pool with a floating floor, learner pool (also with floating floor), dance studio, healthy eating court and state of the art gym facility is on schedule, on budget and due to open this summer.

Lifestyle Fitness who are in partnership with City of Durham are providing the £2 million 200 station fitness suite and will be using Snap to pre-sell the facility from this month. Snap has already been a huge success in pre-selling private sector facilities but this will be the first time a local authority fitness suite has used online sales technology for a pre-sell.

Gordon Hall from Lifestyle Fitness states "We have numerous incentives in place for members who want to join now, and with Snap we take the initial fee but no further direct debits will be taken until the new facility opens. This is a great opportunity to OFFER 24/7 sales during pre-sell and beyond and we are confident that Snap will prove to be a great success in Durham."

Snap is critical to launch of The Gym
The Gym is an innovative new UK affordable fitness concept about to be launched in Hounslow with numerous clubs to follow throughout the country.

As a "no frills" club The Gym membership is sold at only £9.99 and central to the concept is the ease for all members to join online either in club or away from the club. The pre-sell office features internet kiosks which allow new members to join online on premises as well as 24/7 off premises.

CEO John Treharne "Obviously we carried out a lot of research and looked at all the options available to us. The key thing for us was introducing, the ability to join online. Our membership system is unlike virtually any other health club – very simple, one category and one price. We opened the sales office in mid December and sales have been excellent... part of that process is the simplicity and speed of the online process provided by Snap."
